The SFS of StL initially started in 2008 as an informal group of legacy Marines within our community focused on assisting the Marines from the 3rd Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment to ensure the success of the annual Toys for Tots collection campaign.
After several successful collection campaigns , the SFS of StL began acting as a liaison between the command and the community for matters pertaining to the Toys for Tots and in early 2010, the SFS of StL was formerly chartered as an IRS recognized 501 C 3 organization.
That same year, the SFS of StL hosted it’s first annual USMC Birthday Luncheon and today, the organization boasts 2500+ members and continues to grow in honor of their mission.
